Neil Asher – Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Neil is a serial entrepreneur having started and built 5 multi million pound businesses, franchised 1 of his businesses into 5 countries and licensed another into 9 countries.

He has been awarded a spot in an industry list of top 100 affiliates in the world, out of 250,000 entrants.

He’s written two bestselling books on marketing and business success and is in the middle of writing a third.

His main drive in life is helping the businesses he works with to make money, he’s a digital marketing expert who is regularly called upon to speak at industry seminars.

His business motto is “we test it on our businesses first then apply it to our clients” and believes that the only purpose of digital marketing is to increase the profits of the business it’s applied to.

Matt Duggan – Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Matt Duggan has had a pretty varied background to reach the point of becoming our Chief Marketing Officer here at RoarLocal.

Before becoming Neil’s business partner, Matt actually ran the Facebook Ads for RoarLocal and its clients as a freelancer. He was recruited by Roar co-founder and former partner, Nicola Cairncross, for whom he was working at the time.

Matt’s a lead generation expert who cut his entrepreneurial teeth creating and running his own successful online marketing agency.

His main drive in business is to help entrepreneurs to make more money by generating their perfect prospects online and then converting those prospects into long-term clients.

Matt oversees the team here at RoarLocal UK and it’s probably his melodic tones that you’ll be hearing in weekly meetings when you become a customer of Roar.
 

Patricia Godinho – Executive Assistant

With over 10 years experience as Personal Assistant to the CEO of a luxury holiday villa sales company in Portugal, Patricia brings a total passion for customer service and professionalism to her work with ROARdigital.

Patricia is the lynchpin making sure that clients of ROARdigital and the professionals working on their accounts are connected at all times.

She also helps keep Matt and Neil organised and focused… No mean feat for one person when faced with two entrepreneurs.

We’re fairly sure that Patricia has a superhero outfit on beneath her clothes at all times, ready to spring into action and organise the hell out of someone.

 

Nick Mennell – Google PPC Traffic Ninja

Nick runs our Google Adwords campaigns here at RoarLocal. Like Matt D, Nick’s marketing background is originally as a freelancer who wanted to help more people, so he created his own business running adverts on Google for other business owners and entrepreneurs.

As a result, we found out about him and recruited him into Team Roar.

Nick understands the power of targeting in online advertising, to bring hot qualified leads into your business. What’s more he’s really good at it and creates blisteringly effective campaigns for all our clients.
 

Matt Scott – SEO Master

Matt is one of the finest search engine optimisation experts we’ve met, so naturally we had to have him work for us at Roar.
Working with Neil, Matt created our exclusive SEO system that allows us to make our clients an authority in the Google results within their market.
What can we say? We clearly have a thing for blokes called Matt at Roar Local…

 

Steve Watson – Web Developer & WordPress Expert

Steve has a keen eye for design, loves everything about online business and has a great passion for outstanding customer service. After spending the first couple of decades of his professional career in the hospitality sector he finally got too old and decided to slow things down a bit.

Steve then attended course after course absorbing as much knowledge as he could to be able to start his new career as an internet entrepreneur. Concentrating on building quality websites with an emphasis on them working for his customers businesses rather than just looking good, Steve soon become a major player in the WordPress web design business.

 

Martin Hunter – Head of Copy

Martin is now recognised as one of the most influential direct marketers of his generation. He has worked in direct marketing for over 30 years and his renowned speciality is copy and creative. He writes profit making campaigns for our clients every day.

Martin has made millions for the roarlocal clients and has worked in a diverse range of industries from fashion to forex, property to nutrition and much much more.

In addition to his commitments as the ROARdigital copy ninja, he regularly presents conferences, seminars, workshops and Masterclasses, plus training sessions on all aspects of contemporary direct marketing all over the world – and travels over 100,000 miles a year in this respect.

He’s a highly respected contributor to several International marketing and advertising publications, including Admap, Marketing Week, Gulf Marketing Review, Direct Response, Direct Marketing Week, Direct Marketing International, Precision Marketing, Directory, AdAsia and Adline.

He is working on a new book to be published this year.

 

Inga Dahl – Social Media Manager

I fell into Social Media by happy accident. A long time ago, I stumbled into administration, which led to spending 10 years as an Executive PA and Office Manager in various companies. And although I was very good at what I did, it was sort of akin to housework for me. Something done by rote. But, I was a fastidious housekeeper!

However, towards the latter end of 2009, I wanted to do something else.It was at that time I met my previous employer, entrepreneur, Julia Macmillan, who was the founder of a successful niche dating site who asked me to come on board to help with its rebranding and operations, and also to assist her in another start-up for food and art lovers. It was there I learned all about Social Media and Content Management, and how to put it into practice.

Social Media is all about brand relationships with their customers/ clients. It’s like a good friendship if done right, and that’s what I aim for when managing the Social Media accounts for the clients we handle at ROARlocal. (ROARlocal also believes that Social Media brings traffic and attracts ideal prospects so I aim to do that too!)

In today’s technology driven world, you can have everything in place, but if your Social Media skills suck, word gets out, and gets out quickly!
